‘Shinto, you don’t need a title’, is the story of Shinto Gray, a literally gifted young man, whose life takes an unforeseen and dramatic turn after the disappearance of his most beloved parents. This calamity leads him to the one place his parents worked tirelessly to keep him away from, the tragic human condition. An unconscious robotic race, oblivious of its potential.
Shinto finds himself lonely, frustrated and a perfect reflection of what he didn’t want to become. What makes it unbearable is the fact that he has tasted the true lost wonders of this world, but the insidious conditioning from the masses has run deep with time and so he no longer knows how to tap into that world.
Until.......... he finds himself face to face with Nadi, a blue creature from a dimension of a higher frequency that seems to have a taste for sarcasm, blueberry muffin pop tarts and his preferred choice of transport is a suped auto rickshaw that seems to be almost as fast as the speed of light. Nadi, the whimsical antithesis of a Guru takes Shinto on a journey through dimensions and time lines, making a mockery of the human condition, proving to him how insignificant our ‘problems’ really are in the light of possibility.
Nadi takes every reader on an epic ride that removes all the artificial complications of life, showing you the simplicities of living a life you want to live but didn’t think it possible.
To add to to his bewilderment and growing angst, Shinto finds himself in the midst of a prophecy that only he can finish.
Nadi, a man that could quite easily assimilate into our society but there is one small problem. He is a 7 foot tall, muscular hulk of a man that is blue with a network of white lines running through his body and the glow of his colourful chakras can be slightly yet completely distracting.
He belongs to a race of higher consciousness from a neighboring dimension of a higher frequency, where creating life exactly how you imagine it is a common daily way of life. Their thoughts interact with the invisible intelligence that is the environment, which allows them to create absolutely anything.
A joyous race of people from the most beautiful and mystical world, that look upon the human race with hilarity and disbelief because the power they possess is exactly what the human race possess and yet their worlds couldn’t be further apart.
And so, Shinto and Nadi’ paths cross, because this is the life in which Shinto must fulfill the promise of the prophecy, made life times ago. Shinto is the bridge between forgotten ancient wisdom and today. The blank book that was hurled at him, literally out of nowhere, is the vehicle.
This humorous yet epic story was meant to be set in London until Nadi decided to take it to the past, present, future and then....to a different dimension.
